work work work.

This is what I do at work.
1) cut bag containing pills
2) sort the pills
3) get the bottles for the pills
4) put the pills in the bottle lids (because the pharmacists have to check my work afterwards, in case I got the wrong bottle for the pill)
5) return to step 1

So the pharmacy I work at supplies drugs to nursing homes and retirement homes. The side that I work on making these long strips of packages that contain the pills and on the packages are the time and date that the patient has to take their medication. So the nurses at the homes just have to cut open the strip and give the drugs to the person.
If there are any changes to their medications or they are discharged or diseased, the strip is "thrown away." The meds can obviously be reused, but SOMEONE has to open the strips up and sort all the drugs out...and that person's meeeee!
They haven't been doing the strips since I left for school in the fall...except I worked a few days during the Christmas break and cut strips for them...so on my first day of work, there were 5 boxes of strips -.-
Now there's 2 boxes! :D
But everyday they are constantly adding more strips to the box...so it's a never ending job. At least once I finish a box, it'll be easier to maintain..like weeds. :P

I actually enjoy working at the pharmacy when I do NOT have to cut strips...so in time I will have fun at work :)

Although it's tiring, I really am thankful that I have this job set for me whenever I finish school (I work for my dad). The pay is decent, I have maximum hours, I get a free ride to work, I get to see my dad working (haha) and I get to play around with drugs ;)
So even though it's tiring, I am truly thankful for this job!

Working makes you realize how tired your parents must be when they come home. So I try to help out around the house as much as possible and try to give them a break for once! :)

"give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
