My first and only spring term in Waterloo ended 5 days ago and I'm going to do some reflecting :P
Edit: So obviously it didn't end 5 days ago...but I couldn't finish this post before I left for vacation so...yeah.
Coming into the term, I thought it was going to be super chill and SO MUCH FUN because I was only taking 3 courses and 1 lab. I planned to stay caught up with my courses... even perhaps READ AHEAD :O
However, a lighter course load and my dad being super busy at work led me to going home almost every weekend so I could help him. I ended up working roughly 120 hours during the term. Having my weekends totally booked soon resulted in falling behind in my courses and not having a lot of free time. I had to be disciplined and manage my time wisely.
In a social aspect, some new friends were made and I got to know some people that were previously just acquaintances. One thing that has been a continual realization is that it is very hard for me to speak up in large groups. I tend to keep to myself and just listen to what other people are saying. I like to observe :P
A prayer request that has recently been on my mind is a longing for more courage. I do not desire this because I want to be a "social butterfly," but so that I can be able to share more, specifically the Gospel. Other reasons have triggered this, ask if you want to know :P

Before I left on my cruise, I was able to spend some time at Josh's place. It was AWESOME :) ...because I seldom get to talk to him the way that we did...along with Nina as well. He likes to talk to me about boys... lol
One thing that he asked me was if finding a husband was something I thought or prayed about. The answer was probably obvious coming into university as I was not very aware of boys. Before our conversation, my answer was still a no because I've been too focused on wanting to prepare myself for the potential future husband. BUT, somewhere out there, he should be preparing himself as well...so...in conclusion, I'm praying for you.
On another note, I have gained some motherly experience points by taking care of Lily for 3 hours.
