familiar faces.

Today's service was a baptismal service! There was a short sermon, but what caught my attention were the testimonies. At my church, they dedicate one section of the building, known as the Shelter, to homeless people. These people's testimonies are so overwhelming. They have experienced so many tragic events, and yet, here they are, giving their lives up to God and their old sinful ways are left behind. It's so amazing that we are saved by such grace! Praise God for these people that have decided to follow Jesus :)

Jon and Milton came to visit me today :) It was so nice just to see some familiar faces around lonely Fonthill! Honestly, ever since I left Waterloo, I have been depressed frequently! Waterloo peeps withdrawal! :( It's also because ever since I switched churches, I haven't been able to connect with the other youth at the church. Almost all of my friends back at home aren't Christian and it's a totally different environment when compared to when I'm at school in Waterloo and 98% of my friends are Christian.
Well, it was good having them here! Even though we were pretty indecisive about what to do/eat...it turned out to be a great day! :)
