The past few days have been so awesome - Josh's convocation from law school, hangouts in Markham, Christine's baptism, and Justin's convocation from Arts&Science.
Honestly, the convocations were kinda boring; you sit there for 2-3 hours just to see that one person who gets their 30 seconds on stage, but you're there to show your support right? Josh's was less boring because Lily was there and I was occupied with her :)
At Justin's convocation, my dad "yelled" for Justin's friend and I was so shocked that I started laughing quite hysterically (as quietly as possible...). And afterwards, I asked my mom (who wasn't sitting with us), if she heard my dad scream for Justin's friend and all she said was that she thought it was Justin's friend's mom. hahhahah!
My mom hit someone's car when she was pulling out of Justin's place, before his convocation...so we have a huge crack on the side of our hybrid now...
Justin was kinda bummed after his convocation, which made me bummed. I'm not sure if I fully understand why, but I'm pretty sure I have felt the way he was feeling before. All I can do is pray that God will give him peace. God is the only one who is always there and He is the reason we live.
I've decided that I am going to read a lot during the summer, fiction and nonfiction. Any suggestions? :)
I probably haven't read a fiction book since the last Harry Potter book came out ><
I find that it's hard for me to find a good series or book that I want to read. But, when it's good, I finish it within a small span of days :P
...so if you didn't know, the last game of the NHL playoffs was today. When there were 3 minutes left until the game started, my dad announced "3 minutes!" and started pretending he was in a faceoff. HAHA. He's so funny. :)
...I know I just blogged about a bunch of random stuff, but I haven't blogged for a while and I just wrote whatever thoughts came up...
I've heard lots of good review from my Houston friends about the Hunger game series? They say it's like the next harry potter...
