dum deee dum.

I want to write out my passing thoughts from the past little while..since I have not blogged for a long time. -.-

Leaving Waterloo has definitely been a bittersweet farewell. Back at home, I lack the fellowship that I had in Waterloo: CCF, my housemates, my neighbours. I'm all alone here and it's definitely taking a toll on me. My "home church" has been... :/ I've only attended once since I've been home (due to family vacation, being in Toronto), but I already know that I don't feel all that comfortable there ...
I haven't even seen my high school friends since I've been back. I'm literally a loner and I hide at home. Do I sound glum? >.>

I always posted when a new baby was born..but I was away when he was born so..here's a picture! Meet Andrew TBA Tong. :)

I don't enjoy hypothetical situations. They make your mind wander in an infinite number of ways, but when I was on the tour bus in China, I couldn't help but think (I can't read in moving vehicles). Thinking actually made me cry one time; I don't really know what to do..
Marriage has also been a reoccurring thought of mine recently. Since I started reading Voddie Baucham's book, Family Driven Faith, I have been excited for marriage and family life. Interacting with my nieces and nephews doesn't really help this deep desire either :P
This may be surprising to hear, but think about it...it's actually a big blessing in life.

The cottage: despite having wisdom teeth surgery two days before, I was able to attend and I am really glad that I went. Although it was short, it was nice to have a spoonful of fellowship.

After my family vacation around Asia, I've been working at the pharmacy, as per usual. I'm thankful that I have a job to come home to, but it has also completely drained me of energy when I come home. Working 11 hours a day used to occur once a week, but now it's rare if I am home before 7pm. I had the choice to leave at my scheduled time today (ie. 9-5:30), but there was too much work to get done so I ended up leaving work at 7pm. I'm exhausted, but I know that the time I work is equivalent to the time that my dad is working. It makes me realize how tired my dad must be all the time...

Hi Lily, as of June 2nd, you're now 2 years old. <3

On another note: nursing. I am trying to wait patiently for what results are to come. My mind wants to avoid thinking about it too much because I want to be joyful in whatever happens; I don't want acceptance to be an idol.
Currently, I'll be in Hamilton in the fall, but Justin got accepted to Medschool at Western (YAY!!), so living with him is no longer an option (which was kinda one thing that I was excited for if I were to be there...).
I would much rather be in Toronto. That's all I'm going to say.

Argh. I need to be fed.
