My dad has this Survivor pool at work where everyone at work is represented by someone in Survivor and puts $5 in the pot. Whoever has the person that wins, wins the pot. They were short one person, so my dad put me in the pool as well, without my consent. Today was the finale of Survivor, and my person won.
I know this is labeled as gambling and even though it was not my original decision to enter the pool, I was excited to see my person win! Immediately I started thinking of what I should do with the earnings, which is approximately equivalent to one day of work for me.
Wow, I just feel so ashamed right now! I mean...I know how hard I have to work in order to gain that amount of money and I find it hard to "let go" of it. Why should I feel this way when it's something that I never had in the first place?
I'm so sorry, Lord, if I ever looked at it in any way unpleasing to You!

Usually the person at work buys everyone Tim Hortons or something, but I don't even like Tim Hortons that much so I don't want to buy them Tim Hortons...
...so I've decided that I'm going to buy some stuff with some of the money and then make them chocolate oreo truffles! YUM! :)
